Courtmacsherry Harbour Boat Club was established in 2010 by a group of like-minded people interested in all aspect of boating and the sea.

Today the Club is well established with members that enjoy sailing and motorboating from Courtmacsherry harbour enjoying the majestic waters of Courtmacsherry Bay and the beautiful West Cork Coast and beyond.

Membership is open to boat owners and non- boat owners and there are plenty of opportunities to take part in on the water activities in members boats for non- boat owners. Our members come from all walks of life and include those who are interested in day tripping,kayaking, Ribs, fishing, sailing dinghy’s and yachts to Round the World Yachtsmen and Marine Authors

The Club organises events throughout the season which include social events such as barbeques, quiz nights, launching and laying up suppers and fundraising events for the RNLI. Water- based activities include day trips, raft ups and weekend away cruises to locations in West Cork for yachts and motorboats. The club was very recently donated a PICO sailing dinghy which is available to members.

While the Club does not currently have its own Clubhouse, we operate from the Pier House Bar where we hold our social events and have a library for members and visiting sailors to enjoy.
